What about the blues? The lows? The days that are hard? Or even feel impossible. You are still awesome. Just want to remind you of that.
AND... you're not alone. Today my dishes are too hard to do, my laundry is too heavy to complete, my deck is too big to sweep. I just have no energy for it. So, I don't *feel* very awesome.
The challenge is to let those 3 things JUST BE.
I still LOVE a clean kitchen, but it's ok today.
I like an empty laundry hamper, but it's ok today.
I like a tidy deck, but it's ok today.
Here's for you to read out loud. And just let some things be...
You are awesome.
Say it: I am awesome.
(Even though the dishes might not get done today....it's still true).

Please think of those things and then.. YOU say them about you.
We can build one another up.
We can love and lift a friend.
We need to do more for OURSELVES.
Because.. I just know in my heart.. YOU are doing your very best.. and who can ask for more? You ARE wonderful.
Now you say it. You are wonderful.. oops.. say it like this:
I AM WONDERFUL. (ok, you can't fool me.. that was just reading it silently.. say it OUT LOUD: I AM WONDERFUL.)
Actually it would be EVEN better if you went to a mirror and said it. 3 times. I am Wonderful. Do IT.

There is always something to be grateful for.
Start your day with gratitude.
It only takes a minute and can really impact your mind and day!
Try it.. you can do it... here's how:
1. Place your hand on your heart and think of a moment or person you are grateful for.
2. Breath in and take yourself to that moment...or a moment with that person. Smile as you think of it. Breath in and out as you think of it.
Let your hands touch your heart so you feel it beating.
Let your hands connect with your body.
Let your mind feel grateful. ❤️
Breath in. Breath out. 3x
This is a beautiful way to start your day. You can do as many breaths as you like... but I recommend 3 .. at least to start.. otherwise it's too rushed and you're panting. Like a little puppy.... not that puppies aren't grateful... but there's a 'rush' to one breath.. and 3 can slow it down.
This small, simple act can be a re-set button throughout the day. It takes less than a minute... I work on doing this daily. I often do it in my bed just before I get up. It changes how I start my day. I really love it.
(so, the photo is totally staged, standing in my living room, looking cute in plaid sleeves. but that is how it looks to 'touch your heart'... just like that!)
Do it whenever you need to slow down, re-set, remind.

Sometimes I feel like I don't have any time... I've been googling " one minute meditation"... And finding a very nice impact for my mind... Small and simple but effective.
If you can create more time... Please allow yourself... *guilt free*... time for you ☕

Love Yourself! If you were to line up your friends and family.. and ask them what they love about you.. the list would be endless. Ask yourself... and if there is ANY hesitation... first of all, that is normal.. but second of all... change the filter! See what they see!
One of my greatest hopes is to spark love and joy in each and every one of us. We have so much beauty, heart and soul... I just wish we could see ourselves how our 'cheerleaders' see us. I recently asked a friend in how he was doing and his reply was 'Magnificent'. He continued with how AMAZING it was being a new dad, being in a job he loved with a family he adored and to top it all off.. having a visit with me. I loved his reply... Let's all be magnificent MORE often.
Next time your mom, sister, spouse or best friend tells you something great about yourself.. remember it.. and repeat it! We train our minds to think and we need to re-train, practice and repeat until we love ourselves like we are on fire!
(we can talk about bad days, anxiety, sadness.. all of it... of course!.. but today my message is to LOVE yourself... you just need to do it. You are worth loving. You are wonderful. You are MAGNIFICENT).
IF you are brave enough.. type below.. 'I am... and choose a delicious word for yourself!... it can totally be 'magnificent' but don't feel limited by that one.. wink.

It's funny how we can look at our nearest and dearest and without hesitation say these words:
'I have a fantastic sister.'
'I have fabulous kids.'
'My husband incredible.'
'My best friend is amazing.'
'My mom is outstanding.'
It makes me wonder how we can be so quick to affirm our loved ones and TRULY believe and know how great they are. No hesitation. Just confidence.. because you see them for who they truly are and if asked to share, I could go on and on.
(Proof: Maid of Honour Speeches for BOTH sisters... man those girls are AMAZING. I have 5 pages each to prove it. Maybe 4 pages.. there are some witty jokes woven in)
Of course, there are flaws- nobody's perfect. But if a kind (and- somewhat-nosy) stranger on a bus sat beside you right now and said 'Tell me about your partner. Tell me about your kids. Tell me about...'... what would you start with?
'Well, they chew their food too loudly... there's an unmanageable cowlick... whines too much...'
I feel like in a new conversation; a fresh slate.. those are NOT the items you start with! We take these beautiful opportunities to brag about our inner circle. We love our people! They are amazing- they LIGHT up our LIVES.
So here's my question.. what would it look like if that nosy stranger on the bus said 'Tell me about yourself'. I know I would revert to statistics first 'I have been married 3 years, we have a cat and love gardening...' ... so after that is done (thank you for introducing yourself)... what would you say to describe the HEART of your being?
I am incredible, amazing and kind. I have a huge heart and will do anything to help others. I love caring for my family and community. I am always willing to lend a hand and do it with a smile on my face. I am a joy to be around and my jokes are Top Shelf.
